Boss Hydraulics Single Acting Aluminium Hollow Centre Cylinders (CHA-Series) are lightweight, high-strength actuators designed for applications requiring force in one direction with a hollow centre for versatile use. Constructed from anodised aluminium, these cylinders offer up to half the weight of comparable steel models, making them ideal for mobile or weight-sensitive operations. The hollow centre allows for both pushing and pulling applications, such as tensioning, pulling cables, or testing. With capacities ranging from 30 to 60 tons and stroke lengths between 50mm and 150mm, they operate at a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi (700 bar). Features include a hard anodised coating for corrosion resistance, a chrome-plated centre hole for added durability, and a heavy-duty spring for faster return.
